Citing Sources

Citation is the tool for acknowledging the research and work of other people. It shows that you have found information on a subject and added it to your knowledge base. Citation separates out what is your original work from what is information supporting your ideas. Citing your sources gives you the authority to present your ideas alongside the experts you cite and to draw conclusions.
