How to Apply

  1. Submit your FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid). If you are a U.S. citizen or permanent resident, you are eligible to fill out this form. Your FAFSA will determine your eligibility for need-based grants and loans. Complete your FAFSA here.

    - Before you can fill out the FAFSA, you’ll need to create an account (also known as an FSA ID).

    - Include Golden Gate University (school code 001205) on your FAFSA. This will ensure GGU will receive your results.

  2. Complete GGU's Financial Aid Application. This form must be completed by all students seeking financial aid. It will determine whether you qualify for additional grants or scholarships from GGU.

  3. Apply for GGU scholarships. Some require an additional application, including a personal statement, resume or other documents. Be sure to follow all the directions for each scholarship and apply by the deadline. Browse GGU scholarship opportunities.
