GGU COMMUNITY SERVICE DAY AT GLIDE

Join GGU Alumni Association Board of Directors for a community service day at the Glide Foundation. We will being serving dinner on behalf of their Daily Free Meals Program. The work is simple, but the value is far greater! Offer a loving hand to those that need it as much as a warm meal. After your volunteer service you are invited to dine with Glide. If you choose to dine with us, we request a donation of $2.00 per person; however no volunteer will be turned away for lack of funds.

Orientation: If this is your first time volunteering at GLIDE, we recommend (not require) attending a 30-minute orientation Mon - Fri at 9 am, 11 am or 3 pm -- so you can attend before or after your first shift. Orientation provides valuable context for the population and the community you will be working with, as well info on the history, mission and values of GLIDE.

Location: Glide Foundation, 330 Ellis Street, San Francisco, CA 94102 (Glide is a short walk from the Powell BART station.)
Date: Fri, May 13, 2016
