Marketing Research

Surveys the principles and techniques of marketing research, with emphasis on survey methods. Students will gain an in-depth knowledge of the planning and execution of market-research projects, including the acquisition and analysis of both primary and secondary data; use of statistical methods; questionnaire design; interview methods, including the Internet; and testing and communication of results. Case studies are used. Prerequisite: MKT 100 or MKT 300, and MATH 40 or MATH 240.
