Introduces the theory and practice of public policy and administration; focuses on the administrative enforcement including relations between governmental branches; a history of administration; theories of administrative organization; the management of public organizations including leadership, personnel and budgetary concepts; planning and evaluating; public policy questions; current and future issues. Recommended as the first course in the bachelor of arts and bachelor of science with a concentration in public administration and UG certificate in public administration.
