Psychology of Death, Dying, and Bereavement

This course presents a framework and process for exploring aging at the end-of-life, and includes dying, death and bereavement. In addition, this course investigates the psychological problem of death anxiety, as well as various parts of the aging process at the end-of-life, including psychological, physiological and sociological aspects. Coping with loss, change, grief and mourning are also addressed. Corequisites: PSYCH 10 and ENGL 1B.
