Taught by an all professor-practitioner faculty, this real-world-driven program enables students to gain leadership certification in judicial administration or law enforcement — or to select a complement of courses to suit career goals. The certificate includes advanced problem-solving skills to identify, assess, evaluate, and act on pressing political, economic, social, legal, and environmental concerns faced by communities and governments.

Students will develop the confidence and competencies needed to implement innovative best practices grounded in effectiveness, efficiency, transparency and accountability, as well as social justice and environmental responsibility. Students will be able to complete the certificate in one year either in-person or online. Courses successfully completed in this program may be transferred, if applicable, to the Executive Master of Public Administration degree program.

Important Note:

Graduate certificate admission is limited to domestic students. Students that plan to study on an F or J Visa may apply to graduate programs only.

Minimum education: Bachelor's degree
Prerequisite courses: None
Student status: Must not currently be enrolled in a GGU degree program.
Residency: F or J Visa holders are not eligible.
