Office of Career Planning staff are available to come to your classroom to provide an orientation to our resources and services or a seminar on a specific career development topic.
The GGU Office of Career Planning provides support and education to our students and alumni to empower them in making informed career decisions. We work with students to clarify and achieve their career goals through:
Engage students in career-exploration; help them identify opportunities; develop action plans for achieving both short and long term goals; educate them in the job search process. 50-minute appointments available in-person, online or by phone.
Facilitate in-person and online career development workshops.

Develop relationships with employers and provide students with opportunities to engage with employers. We know that many of our faculty and staff work outside of their role at GGU. If your organization or department is hiring, consider an intern or employee from the GGU community. Simply post the position on GGU Careers, a FREE job and internship posting site, and reach a broad number of candidates including current students and GGU alumni.
Create opportunities for students and alumni to network with recruiters and industry professionals. Faculty and staff are invited to participate in Office of Career Planning events as an industry expert.
A robust online career center (GGU Careers) with job postings, career research tools, and a mock interviewing tool. Students and faculty also have access our growing library of webshops via our eLearning course.

Through our network of employers and careful career advising, we can help your students identify internship opportunities that will best serve their educational and professional pursuits.

We are available to present in your class on a wide variety of topics (ex. highlighting class projects in LinkedIn, GGU Careers resources, finding a job or internship, interviewing skills, etc.)
Share best practices for integrating career development into the classroom (ex: practicing introductions, providing opportunities for peer-to-peer feedback, including career-related assignments in curriculum)
