Bev Winslow, Ph.D., M.F.T., has been a licensed marriage and family therapist for
over 29 years with a practice in Walnut Creek. Bev works with children, adolescents,
and adults and specializes in couple/family communication, relationship issues, and
recovering from trauma.
In addition to her private practice. Bev has previously taught in the masters programs
in marriage and family therapy at California State University-East Bay and JFK University
and has taught at Golden Gate University for 9 years. She is currently teaching Psychodynamic
Models of Counseling and Child/Adolescent Psychology; Assessment and Treatment. She
also provides community workshops on topics such as parenting children and adolescents,
raising resilient youth, and preventing domestic violence.
Bev received her B.S. in criminology at U.C. Berkeley, her M.S. in clinical counseling
at California State University – East Bay, and her Ph.D. in clinical psychology at
Professional School of Psychology in San Francisco.
