Garcia is presently a principal with a private equity / M&A advisory services firm. He started his investment banking career with Kidder Peabody & Company (Boston & New York) and participated on various M&A client engagements representing some of the largest deals of the era. Subsequently, Garcia started and operated financial & strategy advisory services firm representing banking and financial institutions in engagements covering recapitalization, restructurings, and liquidation of major assets. Recently, Garcia has advised private technology companies in Silicon Valley on capital fund raising and technology transfer. He has been affiliated with financial services firms in China, assisting them in identifying private equity US investments. Garcia has taught corporate finance and entrepreneurship at various universities in Northern California. He holds an MBA from Harvard Business School.
