Gianna Phillips has more than twenty years of experience in human resources and business management. Her experience includes large, medium and small companies in both the public and private sector. Phillips is a seasoned professional in human resource management systems specializing in implementations, conversions and upgrades. She has worked with various software programs, including Oracle/Peoplesoft, ADP, Ceridian, Abra and ORSOS.

Before teaching at Golden Gate University, Phillips taught software classes and helped with implementations on a national and international level. During her career, she has gained industry experience in Singapore, Hong Kong, Paris, England, Toronto, and across the United States. Her exposure and experience with different cultures, beliefs and learning styles are great assets to her teaching skill set.
