Jeremy Welland, PhD is Director of People Analytics at Pandora Media, Inc. He earned
his masters and doctoral degrees from the top-ranked social psychology graduate program
at the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor, where he specialized in behavioral economics
and statistics. He holds a bachelor of science degree from the University of Wisconsin,
Madison.
Prior to Pandora, Dr. Welland served as Director of Analytics for Pacific Gas & Electric
and as a director at the world's largest human resources and management consulting
firm, Towers Watson, where his focus was in global employee research projects.
Dr. Welland and his family live in San Francisco's Russian Hill neighborhood. In his
spare time, he serves as the Board President of the downtown YMCA.
