Mark joined Golden Gate University and New York Life in 2011. Prior to joining New York Life, he was a Financial Advisor at UBS Financial Services in San Francisco. Mark has also worked as a management consultant for Ernst & Young and Cap Gemini Ernst & Young, where he implemented world-class financial systems for high growth middle market and Fortune 1000 companies. Before his role at Ernst & Young, Mark worked in corporate finance as a corporate and divisional controller for several high-tech manufacturing companies and as an auditor for KPMG in Oakland and London, England, while earning his CPA license.

A sports enthusiast his entire life, Mark currently enjoys long swims to stay in shape and the occasional swim meet with Pacific Masters. While working in London, and thereafter, he has traveled the world extensively, visiting over thirty countries in total. Mark is privileged to serve as a lector at Assumption Church in San Leandro and The Cathedral of Christ the Light in downtown Oakland.
