Ms. Fisher received her undergraduate degree in political science and history from Indiana University in 1996, and her law degree from American University in Washington, DC in 2000. She then obtained a LL.M. degree in Tax Law from Georgetown University Law Center in 2004.

Ms. Fisher is an attorney for the IRS Office of Chief Counsel. From 2001 through 2004, she worked for the Associate Chief Counsel (Procedure & Administration), and since March 2004 she has worked for the Division Counsel (Small Business/Self Employed). She is a senior attorney in IRS Chief Counsel’s Denver field office.
