Randy Merk

Randall Merk,  Retired Executive Vice President of Charles Schwab & Co., led Schwab's investment division responsible for mutual funds, managed accounts, ETFs, fixed-income trading and insurance products. During his career, he has held positions at Bank of America and American Century Investments.  The Adjunct Faculty member currently instructs two finance courses assisting students with growth in the areas of investments and the behavioral components of finance. Additionally, he serves on Golden Gate University's Board of Trustees. Merk's academic achievements include an undergraduate degree in Political Science from the University of California (Davis) and an MBA (Finance) from Golden Gate University.
