Rick Kahler, MS, CFP®, CFT-I™, CeFT® is founder of Kahler Financial Group and a pioneer in integrating financial planning and psychology. Rick is one of the founders of financial therapy and recognized internationally for his pioneering work in that field. His work and research has been featured or cited in scores of national and international periodicals, books, and broadcasts. He is in his 31st year of writing a weekly column on personal finance that appears in several print and digital publications. the co-author of four books blending financial planning and therapy, and producer of the Financial Therapy Podcast – It's not just about the money.

His work and research have been featured or cited in scores of periodicals and books, including ABC News, NBC, CNBC, Fox Business, The Wall Street Journal, The Times of London, The New York Times, USA Today, Money, Time, and Forbes.  As the co-founder of Onsite’s Healing Money Issues workshop, his work was featured by ABC News’s 20/20 in 2009 and in Wynonna Judd’s book Coming Home to Myself, (New American Library, 2005).  The Wall Street Journal, hailed this work as "an innovative effort that combines experiential therapy with nuts-and-bolts financial planning."
