Dr. Ruth Astle received an SJD in international legal studies from Golden Gate University in 2008 and her JD from Golden Gate University in 1974. She was an administrative law judge from 1985 to 2015, hearing cases for the California central panel agency. Ruth was a member of the Medical Quality Hearing Panel for more than 15 years. She has taught courses in the Executive MPA program since 2009, and is now a senior adjunct professor. Ruth also serves as an adjunct professor in the law school, teaching practical legal writing. She was selected by the Council for International Exchange of Scholars to be a Fulbright Specialists Candidate. Ruth received a senior Fulbright grant to teach international law in the Ukraine in 2009. She is active in Queen's Bench Bar Association, acting as president in 1984.
