Professor Poole  has returned to the State of California as a Mediator/Conciliator with the State Mediation Conciliation Service Division of the Public Employment Relations Board. Previously she was the Labor Relations Director for a large urban county for eight years, and was  the Executive Director and Chief Negotiator for a public employee union representing county, city, and court employees for over 25 years.  She has taught at Golden Gate since 2010 and is an alumni of GGU (EMPA, Highest Honors) and Sacramento State University (Government/Political Science).   In addition to her work as a mediator and teaching, she has a small fused glass studio.  When not working,  she can most often be found at brunch with her lovely adult daughters or at the beach with her dog, Willow.
