Professor Trent Livingston advises law firms and corporations surrounding the implementation
and use of e-Discovery, as well as web and cloud-based technology. He possesses over
fourteen years of hands-on technology experience and computer programming expertise.
Professor Livingston has been responsible for the management and integration of technology
disciplines spanning legal and IT, combined with direct management of vendor relationships.
He lives in sunny Seattle, Washington.
Beyond his work as an Adjunct Professor for Golden Gate University teaching complex
data discovery, he is also the owner and founder of Geekly Group, LLC; a web technology
consortium. He has lectured at the Masters Conference in Washington, DC, Legal Tech
New York, and Legal Tech West in Los Angeles, and has been published in The Data Security
and Privacy Law Journal and The New Jersey Law Journal. Professor Livingston is currently
a Director with iDiscovery Solutions (iDS) and has held positions as a principal with
LECG, senior consultant for SPI Litigation Direct, and has served as an ESI production
manager and consultant at Electronic Evidence Discovery. Previous to his work in e-Discovery,
he was a software test engineer and developer at Microsoft.
