Frequently Asked Questions: Single Sign On

Email Help and FAQ

Single Sign-On (SSO) is a new way of logging into applications and services that you use at GGU. SSO allows faculty, staff, and students to use one set of login credentials to access multiple applications. myGGU Portal is another name for the SSO system.

The release date of the new SSO/myGGU Portal system is Monday, October 28, 2019.

Students will receive an email with their SSO/myGGU Portal login credentials throughout the day on 10/28. It is important that students have the correct personal email on their student record.

Employees will automatically get access to the new SSO/myGGU Portal on 10/28 using their existing Windows login credentials. Is it important that staff/faculty/adjuncts have the correct email address, personal email, and cell phone number (if applicable) on their HR Employee record.

A Single Sign-On system is something that GGU students and employees have requested for a long time. The advantages of using a SSO are many and include:

  • Seamless authentication across multiple systems: with a SSO login, a user logs in once and gains access to different applications and resources without the need to re-enter a username and a password each time.
  • Fewer help desk requests for lost passwords because users only need to remember one set of credentials.

Please enter your existing SSO/myGGU Portal login credentials at the Portal's landing page:

Students who are also employees will have two separate SSO/myGGU Portal accounts. Please ensure you are using the correct username and password when logging in.

Students: for first time login instructions, please click on the link below.

Employees: At the myGGU Portal, please enter your GGU email username and password to login. If you are an employee, you do not have to go through the First Time User setup.
