GGU Librarians have created many guides on a variety of topics from company and industry research to career development and database troubleshooting. Our guides can be a great starting point for your research or when using library materials. Many of our guides contain lists of recommended websites, books and databases, as well as tips for locating materials and much more.

Librarian professionals are available to help students, faculty and alumni with research questions and use of library materials such as selecting a research topic, using library databases, citing sources and much more. Citations and crediting your sources are more than just a tricky set of rules -- they communicate to your reader that you are a good citizen of the academic community. To help you properly cite your sources GGU Librarians have created an APA Citation Guide which contains common citation examples, video clip tutorials and links to citation tools available online or in the library.
A central part of your academic experience will be research.At some point you will be asked to investigate a topic for one or more of your classes. The Library's Research Process Guide outlines the basic steps in the research process from choosing a topic to citing your sources and provides links to research tools to help you along the way.
Free Math and writing tutoring is available online and in-person at GGU's San Francisco campus. The tutoring labs are located in Suites 1224 (Writing) and 1226 (Math) of the University Libraries.
