BS mass communications, Norfolk State University; MS personnel administration, Golden Gate University

How many years have you been in your field?

Human resources and communications combined, 34 years.

What is your business specialty?

Hospitality sector and issues management.

Can you describe your current role at SeaWorld of San Diego?

I provide strategic management and oversee all personnel-related matters for approximately 4,500 employees (including part-time summer staff). I manage the directors for staffing, systems compliance, organizational training and development, and safety and risk management. I'm also responsible for SeaWorld's frequent involvement in government and community affairs.
