Ted Mitchell started regularly teaching at Golden Gate University during the Summer of 1975. He is an active CPA practitioner and has spent more than 30 years as a Partner and Co-founder of Delagnes, Mitchell & Linder, LLP, a San Francisco CPA firm specializing in high net worth individuals and tax services for closely held business entities (partnerships, corporations, etc.) and exempt organizations. Previously Ted was an officer in the US Army and then joined the San Francisco office of Touche Ross & Company (now Deloitte & Touche) which he subsequently left to become co-founder and Director of Tax Operations for Frederiksen & Company, CPAs.Ted is presently a Trustee of Golden Gate University and chairs the Academic Policy Committee as well as serving on the Executive Committee. Ted has formerly served on the Board of Directors of the California Society of CPAs, previously chaired the Nonprofit Committee of the San Francisco CPA Society Chapter, and serves as a Director and/or Advisor for a number of other nonprofit and privately held organizations. Ted holds a B.S. in Engineering from the University of California, Berkeley and a B.S. in Accounting and an M.S. in Taxation from Golden Gate University.
