Leslie Hill
BS Business 13
Agile Coach, American Express
During her time at GGU, Leslie realized that she is a very dedicated, goal-oriented person. While at GGU she found the advisors to be the most helpful. Leslie's advisor took the time to partner with her and build out a path to her graduation. This helped her to see the light at the end of the tunnel and kept her going. Leslie was motivated to attend GGU in order to complete what she started 17 years earlier. She completed 3 years of college right out of high school and then quit, but at GGU she was able to pick up right where she left off.
Leslie says, "I had a burning desire to finish what I had started." Another major motivator was to become a positive role model for her sons. In her own words, "I am constantly preaching to them the importance of staying in school and completing their degree, however I felt like a hypocrite preaching this to them without completing my own undergrad degree." While successfully managing the constant balancing act of homework, work, and family life, Leslie was able to recently complete her final course. "If I had to do it all over again, I would still have chosen GGU. I am proud to be an alumni of Golden Gate University!"
