INTERMEDIATE ACCOUNTING I

Provides an introduction to relevant current accounting topics and the underlying accounting standards (FASB Codification). Topics will include revenue recognition, including multiple element arrangements, inventory costing and valuation, contingent liabilities, investments, the fair value concept, and business combinations. Students will gain an enhanced understanding of the practical issues in the appropriate accounting for the transactions that are covered under these topics.
