Introduces the theory of portfolio analysis and the characteristics of various investment instruments with a focus on securities investment analysis, with some consideration of other investment forms. Topics include sources of investment information, risk/return analysis, money-market investments, measuring investment performance. Satisfies part of the educational requirements to sit for the CFP examination.
