ABOUT THE PROGRAM

This graduate certificate program is aimed at working tax professionals who already have earned a taxation-related MS, MBA or LLM, and want to remain on the cutting edge of tax law. The flexible schedule allows working professionals to pursue their degree at their own pace: students need to complete the 12 semester units over a 5-year period. While a taxation related MS, MBA or LLM degree from Golden Gate is highly preferred, students with tax degrees from other schools may be accepted upon approval of the dean.

ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS

Admission to the advanced studies in taxation program is open to those individuals who have received a taxation related MS, MBA or LLM degree from Golden Gate University.

Some certificate courses have prerequisites that must be satisfied (through transfer of equivalent coursework, or by taking the courses at Golden Gate University) before the certificate courses can be completed.
