Through her company, Stage Presence, Adjunct Professor Harriet Schiffer Scott utilizes her skills and talents as a monologist and theater director to coach attorneys and other professionals to be effective, confident litigators and presenters.

In addition to teaching presentation skills to the corporate community, Ms Scott served for three terms as a member of the State Bar of California, Board of Legal Specialization. She was the Chair of their education committee. She coaches practicing attorneys for courtroom as well as helping attorneys prepare their witnesses for depositions and trials. Ms Scott joined Golden Gate University School of Law as an Adjunct Professor in 1998 and teaches the class entitled, "Courtroom as Theater".Professor Scott attended Antioch College in Yellow Springs, Ohio. She received her BA and Multiple Subjects Credential at San Francisco State University. She is known to many in the Bay Area for her work as a director, writer and theater artist. Her one-woman shows have toured across the United States and Europe throughout her thirty-five year performance career.
