Shinmei (Shin) Kiyohara holds a BS in Transportation and MBA in Management from Golden Gate University. Instructor is also board certified by APICS, holding the CPIM certification, (Certified in Production and Inventory Management,) and the CSCP (Certified Supply Chain Professional.) Instructor has also been awarded the CPSM (Certified Professional in Supply Management) from the Institute of Supply Management (ISM). Instructor is also a Certified Six Sigma Master Black Belt. 

Shin Kiyohara is currently the Managing Director of Gain Management Inc., a Supply Chain Excellence Consulting firm based in San Francisco, CA. He has over 30 years’ experience in supply chain and operation excellence and International Trade Operations with various Fortune 300 companies. He has been the Director of Logistics with the Gap, Distribution Analysis and Budget Manager with Dole, Transportation Manager with I. Magnin, Sr Consultant with GE, etc.
