Reimagining Criminal Justice

This course is an opportunity to explore, discuss, and write about recent proposals to reimagine criminal justice in the United States. Students will consider the implications of these proposals and their potential for creating a more just system of criminal law and procedure by eliminating the significant discriminatory impact the system has had on underrepresented minorities and impoverished communities. Students should expect to spend approximately 50 hours (an average of 6 hours per module) devoted to research and writing.
