Startup Transactions

This course teaches students the core concepts necessary to draft and understand basic transactional agreements through the lens of agreements used by startups to grow and protect their businesses. The course will emphasize a practical approach to transactional legal work, and will teach students to spot gaps between contractual language and the business purpose of an agreement, as well as provide students with a framework to balance business goals with the mitigation of legal risk.
