Drafting Estate Plans

Students will have the opportunity to draft simple wills and the operative provisions of simple trusts (without significant tax implications), culminating in a basic estate plan. Students will engage in drafting based on written materials, and also based on information elicited from client interviews. Drafting for "blended" families will also be covered in this course. (Offered through the LLM in Taxation and Estate Planning Programs. JD students seeking to enroll must obtain the approval of the program director.)
